何荣简历
　　何荣，著名音乐教育家、指挥家、中提琴演奏家， 1987 年获耶鲁大学音乐硕士学位，辅修电脑工程、美术设计和工商管理。后又进修乐队指挥，并在欧柏林音乐学院学习巴洛克时期演奏艺术。旅美20 余年间，曾多次获奖 ，并在许多国际著名音乐节任教和乐团中担任中提琴首席。包括贝尔瓦立音乐节、俄勒冈海岸音乐节和斯伯雷多艺术节、巴尔瓦音乐节及美国俄亥俄州芭蕾舞团、新英格兰室内乐团、查尔斯顿交响乐团、萨瓦纳交响乐团、日本亚洲爱乐乐团、上海广播交响乐团等。回国执教前，任美国查尔斯顿大学管弦系主任。
　　1999 年回国任中央音乐学院特聘教授，倡议并主持了多次全国中提琴比赛，2000 年组建了国内第一个“中提琴教研室 ”。曾任美国辛西纳提音乐学院举办的夏令营和帕尔曼夏令营大师班专家 ，并经常走访于美国茱丽亚、柯蒂斯、伊斯曼、耶鲁、新英格兰、克利夫兰、欧柏林等多所世界著名音乐学府举行大师班教学。在繁忙的教学工作之外，何荣教授还先后组建了中国少年室内乐团，北京中提琴合奏团和 18+ 室内乐团 ，曾率团赴世界各国进行访问演出与交流，包括法国、德国、意大利、西班牙、日本、韩国、泰国、美国等。
　　何荣教授编著了中提琴教学手册，艺术家职业计划手册，录制的 CD、 DVD教学录像，校注了 80 本共 150 个作品的中提琴教材，其中部分已在国内出版发行。 2004 年何荣教授获教育部颁发的新世纪人才资助奖和德艺双馨奖。
现任中央音乐学院中提琴教研室主任，中国音乐家协会中提琴学会会长。
BIOGRAPHY: Wing Ho
Wing Ho is a native of China , international ly known as a brilliant virtuoso violist and conductor. Mr. Ho received his master's degree from Yale University , majored in Viola performance and Conducting and minored in computer science, graphic design, and business management. He has studied at the Baroque Performance Institute in the Oberlin Conservatory of Music. His principal teachers have included Otto-Werner Mueller , Joseph Gingold, Ma Sihon, Walter Trampler, and Jesse Levine.
Mr. Ho also has extensive performance experience as a chamber musician and principal violist with numerous major Orchestras and Festivals around the world. He is also the Artistic Director and conductor of the 18 Plus Ensemble and National Prodigies Chamber Orchestra. The ensemble has toured many countries including Spain, France, Italy, Germany, Austria, Japan, Korea, Thailand and the USA.
Mr. Ho has categorized, re-edited and published over 100 volumes of viola repertories and chamber music repertories. He as also distributed recorded CDs and demonstrations on video worldwide.
Mr. Ho has recently received China's two top awards which are the 2004 "National Teacher's Award" and 2005 "China New Century Ability Award". Mr. Ho is currently Chairman of the Viola Department and Orchestral Studies Department of the Central Conservatory of Music and President of the China Viola Society.
